I'm in the process of starting to touch up my paint. I plan to sand, prime, and paint around the drivers and passenger windows to make sure the A-Pillar and B-Pillar are free of corrosion and protected from the elements. I plan to do the same around the front and rear windows but that trim was easy to remove so I'm good to go with those.

What I can't figure out is how to remove the trim from around the door. I got the windshield trim of no problem. But there's still a piece of trim on the A-Pillar as well as trim where the rain gutter is. It looks like it should come off but I'm not seeing how is done.

Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated.

peel back the weather strip and youll find small pan head trim screws , they need to be unscrewed and then the weather strip chanel peeled away to release the trim

And please let us know all the fun you had in doing this......seriously. I need to do mine, but have been putting it off due to a bad case of "wtf-ititist."
