I have fixed this three years in a row now, apparently not correctly. After about a season of use, the small linkage rod that goes from the outside driver's door handle to the latch mechanism comes undone, leaving the door unable to be opened from the outside. I have even used new "Jesus clips" on the end of the rod to keep it from falling off the handle, but today it stopped working yet again.
Exhausted from taking the doorskin off, does anyone on here know any "tricks" that will fix this once and for all?
