Drivers side mirror cable broke.

i figured i would ask you guys first if anybody has fixed a broken cable. My question is can you fix the cable or do have to replace it or replace the whole mirror. i didnt take it apart yet and wondering what im in store for, thank you in advance

Where did it break at the mirror or at the handle in the dash?

Driver Side mirror. Not in dash. The cable goes up to the mirror that is usually a full replacement. One part. Pull the driverside lower door panel off and use an allen key to loosen the handle out of the housing. It should slide out then there is two 10mm bolts on the inside of the door to undo. Then slide the mirror off the door. It should be pretty easy to get a used mirror off the board here with a working cable.

its on drivers door, im not sure where it broke i guess i will ssee when it comes off. i was hoping the cable could be replaced thanks guys
