Driveshaft Tube ..dom Steel??????

My dennys driveshaft is advertised as tube being made of dom steel...what does this mean

+1- DOM is rolled and welded then drawn over a mandrel to remove weld slag and more uniformly size the tube. The cold working of it raises the strength.

well now that i know ...I went today to get a price on changeing the tube on my dennys shaft as it is to short..about 3/4 inch to short ..
