Yeah, I just recently purchased a 1987 Dodge Colt hatch back. It is in very good condition, rust free in fact. It has a pretty sweet paint job, but it needs some power. My friend gave me a Grand National engine, and I am not sure if it will fit. I am sure I might have to modify it. We will see....looking for some suggestions.

Aren't these cars front wheel drive?

What are you're plans for a rear end?

Motor mounts will be real tricky!

Do you plan on doing a front mount? If not, you'll have to fab up some kind of scoop for the stock location i/c.

Is it originally fuel injected? Anyway you'll need a fuel tank with in-tank pump with baffles.

Good Luck!

Hey Colt GN,

You're either a troll, or the most optimistic poster ever.

I had a Turbo Colt in the day. Quick little car...
