ds ?'s well ecm ?'s

I just got my new ecm today and have taken the shield off the bottom and need to know what you use to clean the ends off with? brush, alcohol, or what? also just unplug the orange wire and neg. battery and then unplug the top 2 harness conectors to the ecm and redo above steps to put it in right? i got this ecm because i could not get ds to work with the one i have in there. (i had a shop do the ecm for me and they did not get to try it out since i was in a rush to get it back.) so i am hopeing this will make the differance.

I just did mine. I used a Scotchbrite pad and acetone. I was told to use laquer thinner. The acetone seemed to work better. Good luck.

CRC Green Label Brake Cleaner and a rag.
You don't want to use anything abrasive on the board.
