Can I dual feed without the billet forward drum? This is a street trans so it won't be locked up on the 2-3 shift @WOT. My understanding is the harsh 2-3 shift with the lockup is what help breaks the snout of the forward drum. Feedback welcome. This one of my personal experimental units:D

one word with 2 letters NO :p hmmm you can "try" the Art Carr one BUT the billet to me is the way to go

If you have any bind up at all then the shaft will fail. If it has enough power to need to be dual fed then it needs the billet shafted drum. Ive seen shaft failure in nearly stock non dual fed applications. There is no way to know for sure if the stocker will break or not even when not dual fed. You dont want to find out the hard way either. These billet parts are so affordable these days its not worth trying to use the stock piece.
