Anyone using a reasonable cost Group 78 Dual Post battery in a driver?

Not interested in a $$$ Optima or Odyssey battery.

Replacing my 14 year old Yellow Optima but the car only needs a 3-4 year battery now.

Prefer info. for driven cars, any battery works with most of it's life spent on a maintenance charger... ;)

Howzabout a stock sized battery whatever group that is, anyone using a dual post battery that size in a driver that's under $150?

We've (City maintenance garage) had the best service with AC Delco batteries in our dump trucks/ snow plows and service vehicles. Most are Ford F-250 - F-550 street crews and City Electrician boom truck (Me). All trucks have 20A 120V inverters that are really hard on the batteries. We replaced the Motocraft batteries every 2 yrs., now with AC Delco about 4yrs.

I think stock is group 24 at around $100.

I’ve also stopped using expensive batteries in my GN. I found that Menards carries several brands including AC Delco at very good prices. I just bought this one for $75
