You will have to cut off the tabs, Use the lower mount from your old fan,( a little drilling required) and make 2 small straight braces that will hold it from the top where the AC lines bolt to the radiator cover. They will need to be long enough to hold the top of the fan setup. Also do a search on the board. type in Ramchargers,Dual fans etc..... You will find some very detailed installations and switch configurations. Lots of inventive guys on this board.

tc86gn pretty much nailed it. It's not too hard. There are probably half a dozen diffrect way's you could mount it, but the one outlined below is probably the most painless. It's worth the little effort it take to put in.

Would it be safe to "assume" that you guys that have done this install mount the new fan shroud up against the rad core? As compared to the stock one about an inch away.

I had some soft material left over from a trans cooler install and made 4 small pieces to put between the fan and radiator. All 4 corners.

Nick,
Mine fits right between the two end tanks.........flush with the core. I run a CAS 3 pass copper core, but it is a stock length core. Nothing too fancy.

I've got mine "snugged" in nicely between the tanks up against the radiator. It works nothing less than perfectly. BIG difference compared to the stock fan. Also, if you have any electrical experience, and don't mind cutting the connector off your old fan, don't bother with the plug and play connectors... just MHO.
