How do I turn the boost psi up at the wastegate? And what way do you screw it to up the boost? Do I need a special tool or will visegrips suffice? Also I'm running a new TT stock chip with 15 psi of boost programmed into the chip. I have a autometer boost gauge that is only showing about 10 to 11psi. Thanks guys.

P.S. Also is there a pic or a link that would explain how to do it?

Loosen the jam nut first then Remove the clip and pull the rod off of the puck assemply. For more boost shorten the rod a couple turns. Work your way up that way you don't overshoot. It might be one full turn per lb.

Hope you have a knock gauge minimally, and scan tool of some sort would be best or hello blown head gasket city or worse if you overboost it.
Assuming you have an adjustable wastegate, the above is how to adjust..shorter arm means more boost and more tension in the wastegate spring.

Cool Thanks guys

Yep got a caspers knock gauge and a scanmaster is it something I can do myself or take it to a professional?:)

If you're only at 10-11 lbs, then there's something wrong with the wastegate plumbing or solenoid.

Actually?

I don't think it has an adjustable wastegate? Just went out there this morning to do it and there is no locking nut on it? Just a c clip with a long rod doesn't look like it can be adjusted? Not sure if the stock wastegate is non adjustable or not?

if you're running a true 10-11 psi, then check the vacuum lines of the turbo, actuator, solenoid. do a search and you'll find the correct way the "Y" is installed on the vacuum line off solenoid and wastgate.

I was wondering if you even had an adjustable one given the question as it would be fairly obvious. An adjustable waste gate looks like the one in this picture http://www.fullthrottlespeed.com/itemdesc.asp?CartId={B62911A6-C428-4A14-90D7-9332D1CEVEREST1312E}&ic=628ACTUATOR&eq=&Tp=

That's also why I asked if you had a scan tool and knock gauge. Don't take this the wrong way, but alot of folks think they can just up the boost and run fast, but if you don't know what you are doing and what to watch out for with a scan tool then you will be running into trouble fast and it will be costing you major $$ to learn the hard way.
