Dusty, Is that Bennetts name on the passenger head? Isn't he a Ford guy?..lol
I'm not in a hurry to finish mine this year but I started my SBC build up this month. So far this is what I have waiting to be put together.

Dart block
Lunati billet rods
Billet crank
Forged pistons
Big Stuff 3

Haven't decided on a head or intake yet.. How did you come up with the Brodix head? Anything that I may need to know? What tranny are you going to run? PG?

Call me sometime I would like to come over and see it.

Russell, yell at me or Chad next time you take the digger out.

Keith, those Buick heads would have been nice. I hope to have it running before BG.

Yep, that Bennetts heads but they are just bare. I talked to a few people who think the brodix is one of the nicest cast heads out there for quality and deck thickness. I considered Keith's Buick heads, AFR's and Dart. Alan Dudley had an old set of Track 1's that won't flow as well as these and still made over 1300 with them so I bought just enough head to make the power I want to make. I can use standard valvetrain instead of the offset stuff like the big AFR's require. I was told these should make around 1500 with a good port job. I am sticking with the 200R4 for street duty:D

Nah, it's a PG. I'll get in touch soon. I got to go out now and get these 29.5's up under it. Later

build you a 4l80 for it

Dusty when you get ready for a converter let me know Ill save you alot of headache on getting it right. Ive been there :D On the trans your going to need a 1.80 straight cut gear set and if you use a stock case youll need around 245 psi line pressure to make it live. You can get by with 8 clutches with that pressure. Ill show you a trick to get it up on boost for a pro tree. ;) I wont be caught with my pants down on a protree anymore with my dragster. When you get your heads done holler at me Ill flow them for you.

bahh...you cant go cruise around in the rail and your gn might never see the light of day again im afraid!

Dusty make sure you get a inconnel material or better for your exhaust valve the heat will warp them for sure. I warped three Ferrea comp plus' exhaust vavles. And to my suprise nobody makes a inconnel valve that will work in my applications lol so the 8 valves cost me 400 bucks.

prepare for lift off

Please put your trays in the , never mind, we are going to tear them off anyway on launch!!!!! Looks like it will be a wild ride man! Good luck on her Daniel Ray

I was gonna ask you about your exhaust valves. I knew you were supposed to be running the best stainless valve and I wondered how it was holding up. I guess I will have to break down and get the inconnel. I am using a stock case and have already talked with a guy that will guarantee I can't break it when he's done. The converter is already at the house, it's one of Kenny and Lane's 9.5's.

Looks great! Let me know if I can be of any help. Yesterday and today I am tuning on a 69 Camaro w/ a 377" and a 106mm (4.7 1/8th w 10.5's , so far)

Roy, I don't know that it will pass for TSS but I may get by with TSM on the window for a while. It still don't want any of that stock block car of yours though.

Dusty,

It's looking GOOD! I like the IC location, the piping, yada yada..I can't wait to see it in person. :)

Cal, that slug should be up here in Hunstville this weekend for the big season opener 10.5 race.

Kendall, If it's just running by BG it would be great but I do plan to start leaning on it in Reynolds. I have been doing one of your home mini tub jobs over the weekend. Turns out it's more of a week job than a weekend. Even with the frame cut back to the spring mount it's still gonna be close with the 1/8 plate on the outside of the frame. I think I'm gonna try and cut the plate so that it will fit inside the frame to gain that clearance back. It's a 29.5x10.5 on a 15x11 with 6 inch BS.

Any tips from you or Cal since you've already been through this?

Dusty,
The car will be there. Look for it, it's silver with a single 106mm behind the grill.

When I notched my frame, I completely removed everything but the back edge. Then, I reinforced it on the backside

The Nova. It's about in the same spot mine's at under the hood. I think he's going to go back and build headers for it now though. We tried swapping around some s-10 V8 headers on it and it looked like it was going to work until it was time to put the spark plugs in. Instead of hacking them up he'll just build a set.

Dusty, my wife lets me mount my intercooler at about the 12 o'clock position.

How you doing bro? I jumped on Google and here you are. You still spitting that GN down the road with your wife's approval? Or did you tell her there was a prize for first GN to the moon? How's 'L' doin? Good times bro...

No kidding on the dial up warning.

I had several requests to see how I was mounting my liquid intercooler under the dash, so here it is.

I bought the car from an old lady so I look at it like I put it out of it's misery. I still have the wire hub caps in the garage though, since I won't be able to afford some nice 17's for it they might have to go back on it. I kinda like the sound of 1400hp on the stock wire's:D

If Tweaked II can run at a buick event, than why not this ? Its more buick than a camaro is..
