I understand that Eric at Dynotech builds converters, so I'm just looking for some feedback from current users.

Anybody?

Eric builds transmissions. He usually uses Protorque convertors from what I understand. Great guy to deal with.

Thanks Lee....I thought I had heard somebody say that he builds converters as well......

I have a 10.5" Protorque in the HI-PRO Eric Schertz built tranny with my TA62 in salvageV6 the WE-4.

I prefer the Schertz tranny in my GN with the Vigilante 3K stall with the stock turbo on the street. :D

I wonder why? ;)

The Protorque is a good converter that I locked up on the dyno. and once at the track. I think the max. they build is a 3,200 stall lockup however.

Prolly shouldn't lock it up but..... ;)

lock up not above 3200prm?

Our lock ups can be stalled anywhere between 1600 to 6500 rpm. I think they may be able to do it at Vigilante also, but maybe that is their prebuilt units. All of ours are built use specific. Depending on your build and use, it can be dialed in anywhere within that range. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Mark:D

Right that would be off the shelf items.

Contact Eric Schertz directly to see the exact lockups and sizes you would require. :)

I got one of his 2800 pro-torque converters -works great with a ta-49- i really like what he did with the trans-
