Got mine today!! Perfect shape!! Good thing you double boxed them, one of the outer boxes is in perfect shape, the other is beat flat. You are right, they look good enough to put on the mantle!!

For those that know how to tell if a crankshaft is for a 6 cylinder or 8 cylinder

You count the number of journals the rods go on (6= v6, 8=v8)

Once again, here are my accurate description for my cranks:

Buick 231 eagle forged crankshaft new 4340 700hp VIN 7 si

Brand new in the box crankshaft for VIN 7 Buick 231 V-6.

This is a direct replacement crankshaft correct? Will my stock rods work with it? If so, consider one more sold.

Yes its a direct replacement for stock rods & bearing w/the exception of:

stock flywheel & harmonic balancer

You need to replace them w/ JW Flywheel & BHJ Harmonic Balance(both being neutral)

Then having internal assembly balance


BUT THEN WHY WOULDN"T YOU DO THIS CORRECTLY?
Our flywheel/harmonic balancer (dampner) are junk beyond a stock motor-many of people have lost motors due to these 2 stock pieces coming apart!
