Well to be frank a little 16g equipped FWD against a 49 equipped TR with injectors and all seems hardly a fare race. As for a 16g running 11's there are plenty of them out there I ran my DSM's 100's of times and never posted the times on the main board. Check the local boards. How about a awd yellow full street trim mirage with AC full interior and all that run's 11.02 on drag radials and pump gas. Another one of the TBDSM guys has ran 12.20's with a FWD and a 16G ( and not much else) on a slower heavier 2G dsm. There are a few AWD's running 11's with a 16G but they need the stuff to go along with it injectors, SAFC or something simular ect. I had the full weight DSM with a 20G running low 12's and the only thing holding it back from mid to high 11's was super soft launches because of a worn DS carrier. And a 20 G flows a good bit less than a 49.

Not trying to strt a DSM vs TR war after all I sold my DSM and now have a TR but as I said before a DSM (especially a AWD) with mild mods can give a evenly modded TR all it can handle. Without the need of Alchy, Race gas or Slicks.

I wish I was able to post pictures!:mad: Everyone on here thinks if you have a sport compact that it is rice. My son's other car is A.W.D. that is pretty trick. The A.W.D. has a Buschur motor with ALL the trick stuff. As soon as he get's the A.W.D. sorted out he wants to get Turbo Regal.

Please say that you are joking. A 009/49 powered TR will TOAST a fwd DSM with a 16g and nothing else. The DSM will have fuel cut at anything over 17-18 lbs so in NO WAY will it even be close to a 009/49 combo TR which is an 11.7 car with traction..
My old laser was a HKS catalog car with a stock turbo (and a bigger ic) and Im telling ya in NO way it it anywhere near as fast in a qusrter mile as my GN. It was KILLER top end but it was NO match on the street for a 009/49 combo TR with drag radials or DOT';s no way/..

If there are "plenty' of 16g powered fwd DSM's in the 11's, how come NOT ONE is on that fastest DSM in the world list? A lil funny doncha think?? Splain that.

flying gn still fails to realize that the only people on the dsmtuners list are actually people on the board. you must be bad at reading or something
 
No you must be joking. As I said earlier a hooking TR with a much bigger 49 turbo and and injectors is not a fair race against a non hooking FWD equipped with only a 16. An AWD is another thing and did your TR run it on 93 with no race gas or alchy and regular street tires. Uhhhhhh probably not.

NOW like I said before not trying to start a flame war or anything but you started this. D you actually read the post before you comment on them or just guess.?

Check out the links I just dug up and see. With only 1800 dollars in mods on regular pump gas and no DR's running 11's. Your TR do that? If so you guys can race or even better yet the 11.0 mirage. Half of the post and dragslips on that one board alone are not on the national site. Big deal is your time slip posted here? I guess unlike you, some people do not feel the need to post there times on a national board to impress. If you want I have some pics and videos of my car at the track and a ton of time slips I can send you. Just let me know.

*news flash* I found another DSM 1/4 mile list and guess what? The fastest 16g was 12.5 and that was AWD to boot!!

The one he shows me launches to a tune of 1.6 60' foot time. We all know how that car is set up.. Not a mild 16g like hes claiming for sure.. so far he found one.. Yea Id call that plenty:):)

I could not care less about the 16g DSM.. Its a fast car for sure..

The ONLY one I found is on my own local board. You really think he is the only one and my boyfriend already gave you videos of 2 others. As far as what Eric is " claiming" I am sure he could give you the hard core race details or better yet bring the TR down and see for yourself.
