just because you had a slow dsm and probably still have a slow gn dont try and justify it by making others wrong when it was you who couldnt tune or drive

Look you don't know me to sit here ,and talk ****. My talon went 10.89 at 129mph. How fast is your car now? My car was tuned on a dyno ,and the car made good numbers for what is was. I did not tune the car I can admit that. The car had a AEM EMS on it ,and I did not know nothing about that stand alone. I seen that car run with my own eyes a DSM shoot out. I still know alot of guys that drives these cars. I know a guy with a build motor FWD car with a 20g full fuel system ,and the car went the best 12.20's. You must not have a idea of what it takes to make a car fast. Your car can make crazy numbers on the dyno ,but if the car cannot hook what good is that horse power?

The FWD car that he is talking about is the fastest in the country. Now if you look at the rest of these car in the 11's they have really big turbos on them ,and BUILT motors. Hey everyone it is so easy to get a FWD DSM in the 11's.

whats funny about this whole thread is that 2 guys are defending DSM's to the bitter end when they both own TR's and we are ON A TR BOARD> dahh. If you wanna scream to the world how fast DSMs are, sell your TR's and buy a DSM car and go argue how fast TR's are on a DSM board.. see how that goes..

What happened to this thread? I surely hope that I didn't start all this name calling and such. Guys chill out it is just cars. Buick and DSM owners are some of the most rabid owners out there,but geez , the name calling and such is not cool.They are both cars that are fun to play with and respond well to modifications! I would hate to see the moderators step in and delete this thread because of the name calling! I am fortunate in the fact that we have two Buicks and two Talons. In our grage the horsepower king is the Talon but if we only had one car it would be the Buick. Each car is unique in in it's own way,thats what it fun!!

If you just happen to line up against a buick during timetrials, wouldn't that make you look skeered if you then didn't line up next to it on the starting line?
