Has anybody in NC/SC/GA run one of these events? I saw a 03 Cobra advertised as having 4 Land speed records in my autoweek so I looked him up and he did indeed have D production Supercharged through A production Supercharged. He's running between 162 and 166 in the standing mile, which is fast, but should be doable in a 120/122 mph 1/4 mile TTA (which could then sweep E/PS thru A/PS). I doubt they know what a TA49 is
The E/PS record is only 148 mph which could be done in a 12 second GN, believe it or not. A totally stock TTA could break that record.
Anybody have a TTA with a Roll bar and want to set a land speed record for $150?
