I have a nice 1974 Chevy pu on there right now. Have a guy that keeps bugging me about it. He says my $3750 is way over priced. He says $800 tops. Also says he bought 2 of them this Fall for $750 each. I should mail him back and tell him if he just got 2 of them he won't need mine. think I will just hope he goes away. Never had any body like this guy before. He also has 0 feedback.

Tell him to go troll somewhere else and leave your auction alone. ;)

Also might want to tell this shmuck that the seat alone to have re-upholstered would cost about $200 alone!! Do a search on his name and it will show you his past purchases! ;) I will be willing to bet those other trucks didn't look that clean.

Decent looking truck! and deffinetly worth more than $850....

Good luck with your sale.

he didn't get them off ebay. He has only got 4 things off there ever, and one of them he never paid for. Nothing since 2007. He is probably lying about the trucks figuring I have no clue. It got to $1525 last auction. I know my Wagon I sold last year took 4 tries to get it sold.

You need to have someone "ask seller a question" really saying alot of good things about the truck like "this is the best original 74 I've ever seen" or "I sold one just like that for $5000.00 last year" and "If I were closer I'd buy it in a heart beat". You know things like this, then post it up with his dumb questions. It would make him look pretty stupid and may bring more interest to your sale. Just a thought...Good luck.

When I get an inflamatory offer or question on e-bay I first block his user I.D. from bidding on my auctions then I completely ignore his question. Responding only validates his ridiculous claim and gets you involved in a drawn out defense of your item...

Ignore him and move on....

There are a lot of complete idiots that troll ebay wanting to buy cars for a dollar. I listed a car with a buy it now and no reserve once and I get a full page email from someone that because I didn't start the auction for a $1 it actually had a reserve.

I told the idiot that no reserve means the buy it now goes away with the first bid by a real buyer, and not the first $1 bid by a 13 year old dreamer. Do people really want to buy cars owned by idiots?

Ignoring them is the best plan, but if that doesn't work, reporting them to E-bay that they are trying to buy your item outside of the auction works, too.

been there man, block him from bidding then forget him. Last transam I listed I had a guy whining over how the pinstipeing wasn't put on perfect, etc. I blocked him and sent him back an email saying that the car was obviously not for him and go keep looking elsewhere then. Some of them have nothing to do with their time but cry about something they can't afford anyway
