ECM memory?

Hello!
I am installing battery&main power switch to trunk.
Does ecm loose blm ratings If main power is switched to off?
Is orange cord only wich resets ecm or does ecm fuse also reset it?

Anytime power is cut, fuse, battery, or orange wire, the ecm resets.

it only resets when orange wire is interrupted , you kill the battery voltage to the ecm fuse every time you key off

you have to run the orange wire back to the positive terminal at the battery, as well as the alternator output
if you run a dual position switch you can use the smaller terminals and just run the alternator field wire through that and it will work and you wont need to run a large gauge wire from the alternator

zactly, except on street cars that need to run a tag or still have stock tank the handle needs to go on the side of the flip down plate

on my car i ran to the low portion of the bumper
