turning parts into TR

I am getting the TR put back together and I have some questions on some plugs without homes. (I didn't take it apart and they weren't labled for me)

1) The Green connector in this picture...I know the biggy go's to the coil and 1 each cam & crank sensors but the little green one has me baffled.

2) There are two connectors in this picture... The small green plug from the "headlight" harness by the wiper motor, and the larger plug from the main harness.

3) The small connector in this picture at the MAF splice, I've got the one to the MAF, and the one to the evap canister but not the little one

4) Is this an acceptable grounding location for all of these ring terminals?

Any help is greatly appreciated (might even give a discount on all of my spare parts when done!!!:) )

Thanks, Jeff

Somebody will have to correct me if I'm wrong, but I'll try to go from memory since I'm not at home.
1. That is the wire for a aux RPM tach
2. Those wires are for the digital dash option
3. That wire is a direct to prime/run the fuel pump
4. That is probably a satisfactory place for those grounds if your not going to be reinstalling the ac pump. I personally would prefer to move them back to the factory location which is the next closest bolt to the right in your picture, so they are being grounded by a bolt that bolts right into the engine head. If those ring terminals have any corrosion on them, then splice some new ones on. (their cheap). And I'd also recomend some coarse scotch bright on the mating surfaces where the bolt goes through to insure good contacts. Make sure no corrosion on the bolt to. Good grounds on these cars are important.

Wait till somebody else chimes in to confirm what I've wrote here before continuing, just to be on the safe side.
good luck

#2- The big plug is for the HVAC. Supplies power to the motor and relay. I dont have a clue what the green wire does. Green is usually the horn or turn signal but that gray connector has me stumped.

Everything else is as stated.

Thanks

Thanks for the replys...my heat / ac harness is on the passanger side, that's one I actually have marked because I pulled it out. Any other input on the big plug in picture #2 ?

Turbobuick2 thanks for the advice on the grounds, I moved them in a bolt to hit the head, and gave them a good cleaning.

Can I actually feed 12V to that fuel pump wire to pump the crap out of my tank? That would be great...I have 1/2 tank of 2004 gas:frown:

The only reason why I wouldn't think that pic # 2 wouldn't have anything to do with hvac is because its on the drivers side, and also, I think I posted a thread awhile back on that particular jack because its not being used on my 84 gn, which has every single option except the digi dash and climate control. someone responded saying that it was for their digi dash as they had one, and it was being used.

you can definetly use that to empty your tank. Hopefully nothing in there has rusted or sludged up on you being that old of gas.

I think i'm going with TB2 on this...the connector is way green on the inside and it appears to have not been connected to anything for a very long time.... (22 years maybe?)

Put some dielectric grease on the ground terminals - between the mating surfaces. It'll inhibit the oxidation which contributes to a bad ground path. It's the same stuff used on battery terminals.
