My 3.8 turbo emblem broke on my trunk and I had to pull it off. How the heck do I get the black adhesive off the trunk? I have tried brake cleaner and WD-40. It is really thick and soft. No dirty thoughts now!;) Any thoughts?

Go to your local automotive paint store and ask them for adhesive remover. Thats what we always used at the bodyshop i used to work at. I can't rembember if it was a PPG product or a 3M product but I do rembember that it was in a red and white can. It worked really good

3M adhesive remover - available at any auto parts store. That should do the trick quite easily.

3m makes a wheel for removing adhesive that works really good. if you have any friends that work at a body shop they might be able to do it for you, it only takes a few seconds to do something that small.

Got the junk off but it took a bit. It was really gummed up so I had to let it soak for a bit and scrape it with my fingernail and then I had to soak it again then it came off pretty easy. I did use the 3M stuff.
