Emblems!

I have an 86 T-Type turbo and am wondering which is the correct 3.8 SFI TURBO emblem for the trunk lid. Is it the all chrome one or the one with the black edges on it (like on hood)? The one on my trunk lid now has the one with black edging same as hood. My emblems are nice ok but I have some NOS ones and want to know which one is the correct one for the trunk lid.

The black trim was "anti-glare" for the hood-blister emblems
the all chrome is for the deck-lid

Hi thanks, I saw a guy selling an all original 87 T-TYPE on ebay and asked him what emblem he has on the trunk lid and he said he has the one with the black edging!! Car is all original never painted, nothing!! Confused!!!

The black edged emblems are definitely for the hood. The all chrome one goes on the deck lid. It's entirely possible that an incorrect emblem was stuck on a car or two during production but it would be incorrect. (As incorrect as the all chrome emblem on the deck lid of my GN.)
