Yep, I got some from Jegs, even included the missing GNX bushing at the rear wheels. It was the polyurethan ones, and made for a very nice solid ride after installing them, even a few squeeks went away.

I use them, but I changed EVERYTHING at once, so I can't really tell you how big of a difference they made.
I do agree with UMI Performance, Energy Suspension is good stuff.

I can tell you if you change all the bushings (body and control arm), do the 12" brake conversion with UB UCAs and replace all the shocks and springs, it is a huge improvement... for what that's worth.

Can someone confirm something I thought I read, that the poly body mounts are actually much more like a rubber in stiffness compared to the poly used in control arm bushings?

Is the ride quiet, harsh, nicely controlled, etc with the Energy Suspension poly body bushings?

poly body bushings

Have put 2 sets in. The first went into Bruce's car I'm sure when he see's this post he'll have a comment, at the time he seemed quite happy with them. The other set went in the grey car my impression is they just tend to make things firmer. I think the ride and noise facter is more of a spring, shock and wheel tire combination. As to being soft they are quite firm much more than the stockers.

We actually make solid aluminum body mounts/bushings for the 70-81 F-Body. I havent had to much time driving with them yet, but the ride is not bad, like mentioned the shocks, springs etc. control most of that. It is def firmer and will be a great upgrade for track car since they reduce alot of body flex.

I replaced all with poly. I noticed more road vibrations and stiffer feel. I thought my stockers were bad but they were all fine. Just missing a few......

BJM, they do compress quite a bit when tightened however they feel quite a bit stiffer.

Thanks for the answer. I didn't want to swap it all only to find I did not like it. I think I will go for replacement rubber.

It's not that bad but if I were to do it again, I'd do all with new rubber and install the GNX bushings. Too bad you're not local, I'd let you drive my car and see if you like it.

Definitely feels a bit stiffer, which is a good thing if you race it any, to help prevent those pescky cracks above the corner of the window on the roof. The less body flex the better, as far as driving down the road, you won't tell a difference, maybe in the corners.
