Hey guys, purchased a 84 wh1 and needs a new engine. Just wondering if anybody has done a post on removing and installing engine on a hot air? Just want to do it in the best order for proper job. Thanks for any help.

just dive in an start taking things apart until you get down to the engine.. i like to start under the car- torque converter and bellhousing bolts, exhaust, starter wiring, etc- then do the things up top.

Should I do anything to the engine or car before i install the used engine? Like head bolts or gaskets ,anything that you guys recomend while the car is apart.
