Talking to a guy about buying his extra block.

The motor is unassembled, has been stored for 6 months, hosed down with WD-40 wrapped in plastic bags. Motor has been hot tanked. I thought you should always use oil. any opinions? Is this something I should be concerned about?
 
I did the same thing with 2 sets of heads and 1 block that have been in my shed for a couple of years now. They still look like they just came out of the hot tank. You shouldn't have any problems.

X2 on WD40 Dont need to soak it, just a nice mist will do the job for indoor storage.
