I'm needing some help getting prices together for my GMP cars. Wanting to liquidate some or all of my collection. Do you have any pricing or values on the 1/18 and 1/24 scale cars?

Any info would be great. Thanks.

Jason

GMP GN prices

Hi, If you want prices for Buick GN cars, I have published a book that lists (real) prices that cars were obtained for, mostly off Ebay, which reflects "actual" values, not inflated "values" like some books have. The prices were obtained within the last few months, so they are relatively current. This would give you a good idea what you could actually get for your cars. Here's a link to the Ebay listing so you can see what the book is about. You can bid off there, or just send me $15 & I'll send you a copy. PM me for address.

Are Epitome Exclusives' Diecast/Lithograph sets listed in your price guide? If so, how did you come up with values since so few are ever sold publicly? Just curious.

Yes, the lithographs are "listed" in the book with a description of each of them (no photos though). However, no prices are listed for them, because as you mentioned, they alone, rarely appear for sale without the cars. A few months back, there was a few GNX/Doble prints available (by themselves, no cars) on Ebay that sold in the $60-$80 range.

As for the cars themselves (mostly without the lithos), they appear regularly on Ebay, which is where most of the pricing for all of the cars came from. Hence, "actual" values.

The book is really meant to be used as a "reference" guide (good "checklist" too!) for all available collectible items concerning the turbo regals, not necessarily a "price" guide, even though it does have prices listed within for what a lot of the items have recently been sold for.

Hope that helps explain things a bit.

I was actually referring to Diecast/Lithograph sets that are complete, with both the diecast car and the lithograph having matching serial numbers and sold together....the way they were originally sold. I have rarely seen the lithographs sell separately, however, I know it has happened. Serial numbers 1-300 GOLD plated Regals are clearly worth more than the rest.....BUT without the lithograph to make it complete i couldn't even guess what that difference would be. These sets (diecast car and lithograph) were mostly limited to 300....though with the GNX there were 547. They originally sold for between $109.99 and $159.99 depending on the car, the artwork, the artist and who was signing it. I have never seen any of these sets sell for less than the original price and most are above that, some well above.

I think it would be nice to see a COMPLETE list of all the GMP / Epitome cars with their original prices and what the real value of them are today, each separatly and as a complete set.

The book does have a complete list of ALL of the cars, along with pictures of each, AND recent "sold" prices for each. However, these prices are for single cars, and not the ones with the lithos or special gold plates, as they are not sold as often as the regular cars, so there is no realistic way to keep an accurate track on them.

As Epitome has stated, the original prices varied from $110-160.

Complete sets rarely are ever sold (not that they haven't been offered) it's just that the owners want way too much for them and its a lot cheaper to complete a set by acquiring cars singularly (even though its not a numbers matching set & you don't get the lithos) - I know, I did it.

With as rare as the lithos are, most collectors have a tough time trying to complete that kind of a set, so settle on just getting the cars.

Are the special 1 of 300 (mostly) Epitome cars, with the special license plates, lithographs and GMP certificates listed in your book without prices?
