One way of the other I bet that dude that looks like him and kept getting stopped is a happy mofo.

I understand they used the slain Trooper's handcuffs on him. Fitting.

AND, he was hauled to jail in the trooper's car!!
Too much media coverage to take his worthless ass out when he "pulled a weapon".
He's a "survivalist".....Let's see, about 20 yrs from now, [if ever], if he can survive a shot in the arm.

The problem with it all is the last lethal injection was 15 yrs ago. This idiot is going to waste taxpayers money for a long time. I think I read somewhere PA has the highest amount of prisoners in the country serving life sentences..

I'm back and forth between them taking him alive. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Taking him alive and people are gonna say "should have killed him/saved tax money/ gave him what he deserved" but killed him and it would have fueled the current anti law enforcement ferguson shit.

They made the right move in the end.

Well, he portrayed himself as some kind of "soldier" and marksman. For such a "tough guy" you would assume he would go down fighting. I think everyone expected that. He folded like a cheap lawn chair. Didn't even give the authorities a chance to ventilate him.

I think with the details that are coming out, they surprised him coming back to his "base" where his gun was. I'm sure things would have gone different if they didn't get the drop on him.

Either way, no more officers hurt or killed. A good job all around.

So they did what they are trained to do. Good job.

He portrayed himself as a "sniper". Then the counter snipers should have been employed. If I were the guy in charge they would have.
