does anyone know what a stock 84 gn would run in the 1/4 ?...i have an 84 and the car is pretty strong just did first couple of mods walbro fp,hot wire kit, 160 thermo, billet adj fuel press reg.........just doesnt seem quick except for between 10 mph and 40.....feels great but kind of loses its life....no hesitations or anything ....any ideas would be greatly appreciated.......what should i do next?......got about 5 or $600 to spend right now but dont have a clue what i should do for most improvement.....thanks

Was worth nearly 9 tenths of a second on my '84 GN.

Electric fan, boost, exhaust just to name a few.

For the money you have, that car could be running high 13's or low 14's pretty easily.

My '84 GN ran 17.20's stock @ 4400 feet elevation. then with the bolt on's listed above, and a pair of slicks it went 14.60 at my altitude on pump gas.

buy the atr downpipe! my car with the stock downpipe would squeak the tires when at WOT. After the atr downpipe it was smoking the tires sideways. The best part is that its only $140

years nats in the 90 degree heat.

has anyone put an adjustable wastegate with a stock turbo on a 84/85?....how much are they and where do i purchase one?

Just go to www.gnttype.org and use the instructions in the tech section to make one. for about 450 you can get a atr dp, and a hooker catback system with test pipe and have a noticeable difference in power.
