evaporator core size

I need the width of the core. I believe it to be 9- 1/2 to 9-3/4. I need to conform this measurement. Thank you--Lee

Lee ,I don't have a core laying around , but you are dam close on the measurement . Just curious why do you need the
measurements, are you trying to replace your old one . Very hard part to find if so. One of my Buick friends replace his
last year with a aftermarket one from .... carid.com so that may be your first start.

I had to change out the broken box on my 87 - 442 I had a great used box I had purchased years ago @ the nationals that I assumed was an 87 TR box. My Olds box has a 10 1/2 inch wide evaporator which is 3/4 too wide for my now good box. The TR evaporator core has some dings in the tubing. I ordered a new one for a 87 TR and it was the same size as the Olds evaporator core. Just need to make sure I am actually working with a TR box. Your answer verifys I am. Thank You --Lee

Maybe it's some kind of high output unit from a bigger car or taxi? Cadillac etc.

The TR core is different from all other Gbodies, as far as I know there is no replacement available.
