I was at a show today and there was a guy with an 87 GTA, original owner with 13,000 miles.
I admired the polished aluminum part of his honey combed wheels and asked him how he got it to shine like that. He said he has been using WD40 for years on the aluminum part and has not affected the clear coat.
Anyone ever tried this on thier TTA ?

Makes it look good for the day but you'll need to wipe it off as is will collect all kinda dust and brake dust. Just like use pledge furniture polish on your car at a show to make it shine. Just don't last. I'd be worried about getting some on the rotors when you take off you might not have brakes for a second! Nothing beats a good coat of wax!
