Well now that you had to bring my name up again after I said I was done Free board MR. PERFECT PAINT. OOPPPSSS !! NOW !!! You rubbed wax in it, isn't my car,sold as is, car needs work, I think it had PERFECT paint WAAH- WAAH -WAHH. Iv'e stated before for ALL the pic, guru's, PICS. don't show me S-IT. I believed Shawn from day one when he called me and was so upset about the paint condition on the car. And just for your information PAINT MAN this is Shawn's post and I just stuck up for a Good Freind of mine that believed he was getting a car with PERFECT paint. Until Shawn or Shane tell me to back out I'll post on here as I damn well like and if you don't like it don't read it. I will still be seeing this paint job in person myself this coming week but I think Shawn has done all that he needs to to show you know NOTHING about paint either. Yeah old Shawn probably ran around town and took pics. of another GN. H-LL there probanly isn't another GN around Dillon, MT. for 150 miles if that. I don't give a damn what everyone else has to say about it being a steal ,it's 22 years old (which the paint job isn't) you should of went and looked at it BLA-BLA BLA. A man's word is his word and if it was suppose to be PERFECT PAINT that's what he should of got. Plain and Simple Now go ahead and try some more BS to try and justify this.

Good for you, go see the paint job......you act like this whole thing is centered around you and your impression of the paint job on the car, ooooohhhh I can't wait to hear what you have to say about it! The world awaits what the infamous Mike "Dobbs" has to offer about his good friends paint job..............gimme a break!

I should have posted the original ad....if just the stuff I posted was all that was wrong with it this would be a good price but there is a problem with the motor and couple that with a leaking girdle the engine needs to taken apart and reassembled to be done right. The motor problem was in the ad and discussed so no problem with that.

For the record......before payment was made by Shawn to me in our discussion about the engine and the problem Shawn told me that he and Mike would probably end up pulling the engine out anyway to do the lifter bore right............so I'm confused why you are now grasping at straws here.

Ok ok....I should have seen the car in person. He sent 14 pics. I was out on the job in New Mexico and had absolutely no chance to go see the car in person. 7 days a week 12 hours a day from start until finish on the job. If Dean would have told me about the laquer check on the roof that is so obvious... that would have been the deal breaker but he never said a word about it. I knew when I finally got home from New Mexico to see the car that I had bought the farm. Dean doesn't have any money or this car wouldn't of had to get sold. I have tried to contact him to solve this situation and he has never had any interest in doing it. His attention to detail is poor and that is the only way I can understand his view on the paint. I am to the point where I would let it go if he were to phone me and say he was sorry for misleading me and send all the parts that he and I discussed on the phone. I bailed you out of the car and I think it is really crappy of you to keep and sell the parts you told me came with the car but if you need the money that bad then keep doing it. I couldn't sleep at night if I had did this to anyone. You were at home everytime we talked when we were both waiting for the shipping company to call and show up. You know my number....

The car looks pretty good BUT 13K is alot of cash for a car. I could negotiate the price of a ferrari from 100K, to at least 80K with the right conditions (words edited by Lee Burough) 13K is pretty steep but the pics of the under carriage look pretty good. Lesson learned, Look at the car before you buy it. I got burned on ebay, and guess what I didnt look at it and I blew a rod threw the side of the block before it got home . Get the car repainted and enjoy it. How does it run???

I said it looks good at 15ft...it looks good in the pics but they are far from closeups. The car has roller lifter issues so it hasn't went anywhere. It needs to be torn down and fixed.

from most of the cars i've seen what you paid isn't a bad deal if the paint is all that's wrong with it. the engine issue's are a different story. if the engine is bad then you did get taken but it sounds as if you knew about the lifter and other problems from what your own friend said he told you when talking to him before you bought it. jmo

Get the facts before you comment. I listed the car @ $13,500 and whoever gave me $13,500 got all parts with it. Shawn offered me $13,000 I accepted and then we discussed the parts I would send him. And for the record, check my posts!!!!! I have only sold 1 item here and it was the Scanmaster, that's it...so to use the plural form of part in the sense of parts is not accurate. And do you think I would sell the Scanmaster on here if I had told Shawn it was his????? I ain't that stupid....I sold it here because it was never his, never installed in the car..........it's funny how he doesn't mention all of the other stuff he got with the car.........

Check out ebay and see what 13k gets you for a GN, most are over 100k miles.

It's funny Shawn, I called you immediately after I found out about this, by my own checking....because you never told me anything. Did you answer the phone, nope....did you return my call? Nope......I wish you would quit lying about this!!!!!! I am the one who has called you and you are to afraid to answer the damn phone, you keep hiding here in the forums where it is safe.......I will find my damn phone calls online and post them after while so people can see what a liar you are. Exactly.....Shawn knew every detail about the car, including the lifter issue. I even went out to the car, started it up and let him try and hear the noise over the phone..........it didn't work out but it shows that I tried to give him as much detail about it as I could. It's also in the ad about the lifter............
