Exhaust connection hardware

I am a newbie so forgive the ignorance, but I am trying to assemble my 85. It was disassembled when I got it and I do not have details of how the up pipe and down pipe are mounted to the turbo. I have seen some with springs and some without. Can someone give me some insight??? Pictures and details are greatly appreciated!

You should be able to look at my pictures to get some ideas......in my sig. I am not using the stock downpipe spring bolts anymore, with no probs. Up pipe just uses nuts and lock washers on the turbo and just bolts to mount on to the header.
