Hi guys. How much performance difference is there between a .63 garrett housing opposed to a precision .63 housing on a TE60. Besides you probably have to run a higher stall for the precision.

You'll get more on the top end with the Precision .63 and a quicker spool up with the Garrett.

If you have the corect torque converter i doubt you would be able to feel the difference between the two as far as spool goes. There would be a little gain up top with the Precision as long as there is no other exhaust restriction post turbo.

I remember when the Precision 63 housing was first offered, the claim was 2 tenths with just a housing change over the Garrett.....I bought one at BG when they were first offered for my TE-34...I'm not saying those are the gains to be expected, just what was claimed at the time...
