Exhaust pipes

when i bought my car some one got a little horny with the under coat or black spray paint and gave me black exhaust tailpipes,anyone have any ideas of what would work best to get them back to the factory some what apperance?or maybe someone that has done this be4,i was thinking maybe a stripper and brillo pad etc?

From the Factory the cars has the tail pipes painted black.
