Extender Chip for 009's

I have a extender for 009's and I'm thinking about upgrading my combo......My question is which is more efficient? Having the chip reburnt or buying another one to suit my combo which has changed violently?

Getting the extender reflashed by Ramchargers is *probably* still pretty economical. I had mine reflashed when I upgraded from 009's to 55lbrs and the reflash was only like $25, but that was about 2 years ago. Free bonus is that if there are any new or recently added features added to the extender (newer versions) you will get those with the reflash.
