What is the proper way to manually put the extender chip in permanent open loop at idle? I seem to have misplaced that part of the directions. Thanks.

Extender open loop idle
Usually you should do this after the BLM has learned.
With the engine idling, remove the calpak from the ECM
this is the SMALL chip-looking thingy.
When the check engine lite turns on, replace the calpak.
The engine will now idle in open loop even when warmed up.
