Exterior door handle linkage rod clip....

My outside door handle flops up-n-down but door doesn't open.
Investigation revealed a linkage rod dropped off the door handle lever becuase a little clip went missing.
The linkage piece in question runs vertical down from the exterior door handle lever to the latching mechanism(door striker)?
my terminology may by off but hopefully someone can understand this.
if not, I'm taking pictures.

Anyway, I need the clip that holds the vertical rod to the door handle lever.
any good sources out there?

The "Help Aisle" at your local parts store or some where in the Dorman parts section.
Door handle rod clips is what your looking for.

Mine did the same thing. After taking off door panel and looking inside, the clip just poped off, since I had access to it I took out the whole door lock mechinism and cleaned it well and the lubed it up. It now operates like brand new.
