Not in the 84-87 sweet spot there, but I thought I might try here anyway ... Up for sale is a very nice dash plaque for 78-79 Buick Regals (I think). This is the plaque that is attached to the passenger side of Regal dashes, just above the glove box door. It is GM part number 1263770, and is in very nice condition. I spent some time cleaning and restoring it. The thin chrome trim around the edge was carefully masked and refinished with three coats of Revell Chrome spray paint. I also carefully repainted the Regal lettering in the lower right hand side of the plague, and finally gave it a good cleaning with Novus plastic cleaner and polish. There are a few dings in the plastic substrate under the thin chrome border that can be seen as low spots in the paint, and the silver finish on the Regal lettering is a bit uneven. There is also one ~2" long scratch in the center portion of the plaque, running from the lower edge upwards, and to the right of that is a small ding in the lower edge of the plaque. These minor defects are shown with the light reflecting on them in one of the pictures. Looking straight on the scratch blends in well with the faux mahogany pattern. The mounting posts on the back side are all in great shape with none of them broken or bent. Asking $50 shipped to your door in the lower 48 United States ...
