Selling TE45A. I bought a few months ago off of this board. Previous seller said it was recently rebuilt with new bearings. Spins smooth but does has a little shaft play. Niether wheels hit the housing. I mounted it and started the car with it but it was never at the strip. No smoke at start up or while driving. I paid $600. I would like to get close to that shipped.

good price for a bad azz turbo. if i didnt already have one on my car i would buy it

To any doubters, there is something special about this old school turbo I think. 600 is a steal.

I'm interested...but broke, maybe sometime after christmas.

Is the shaft play in and out or up and down? How much play?

It is more up and down. I spoke with precision on it and they stated as long as it was not contacting the housings it was fine. I have not measured nor do I have the equipment to measure the play. It spools fine off my trans brake when tested and as I stated before it does not smoke.

well an update to the original post. When i uninstalled it I noticed it hardley had any shaft play? I guess before it had no oil in the bearings so it was looser. To the top
