I had to do this since my intake gaskets dont have a valley pan (Fel-Pro 1200's). I used a stock valley pan and cut it up to make a deflector shield for the PCV valve and used Epoxy to adhere it to the bottom of the intake manifold. The Epoxy will hold 3000lbs and withstand heat up to 250 degrees. Will this work for me ok? Does the manifold itself get hotter than 250 degrees? What worked for you? What did you use? I hope this way will work out because I already put the intake on! Thanks!

It gets hotter than 25*. I'd have it spot welded at a local welding shop to avoid a possibility of FOD in the motor.

If you did not save the oem gasket so that you can cut the middle out and use it with the new ones that you installed...how bout simply cutting a piece of sheet metal and popping it into the valley similar to the oem gasket?

Any idea how hot the intake manifold DOES get? Thanks for the replys.

Why don't you use Felpro Intake gasket # MS96033

It has larger ports like the 1200's, but it has the vally pan so that you don't have to worry about sucking up oil into the PCV.

Just an idea
