hello people; I've been buying more stuff thru the mail, UPS, Fed Ex than usual so I didn't think any thing of it. But a Fed Ex e-mail keeps popping up and looks real professional. I called them and they do not send e-mails.
This time I clicked on the print receipt box and my puter protection detected something from it and blocked it.
I don't know what they would want with me but I guess you never know.

Be very careful with unknown emails.
I have a credit card I only used to purchase parts for my GN last month. I get a call from my bank the day I flew back home to Phoenix, AZ saying there was fradulent activity on that credit card. There was a transaction that went through in Ireland for $179. There was another transaction that was stopped coming from the UK?? I had the card stopped.
I get back home and run an anti-virus/spyware on my laptop and find a Trojan called Sirefef. Upon further research into this Trojan it states that it is person controlled and it gets in from fake emails and directs your web browser to more infectious websites. It also scans your computer for socials, credit accounts......

Bastards, I am still trying to clean up my laptop. So far it has corrupted critical Window's files.

I get 2-3 a week from some fake official looking e-mail but only once has the company got away false charges. I've had Chase for 25 years now and they gave me back every penny the perp stole.

Had that happen twice. Once from my brother-in-laws e-mail. Have had Kaspersky for three years now and nothing has never happened again. Nothing so far has penetrated it's safety nets.

I received the same email on Dec 20 and i did order something until dec 27. Hmm after thinking how can someone ship before one orders. This is not first time it has happened. Another indication is the from:, to:, cc: section of email if it looks fishy don't open.

I get a lot of those emails, I never open them because they always come through as spam mail, I just delete them all.
