Can some give me a list of what will cause the car to "fall on it face"? (Can running to rich cause this?)
 
Do you have a scan tool to monitor what the car is actually doing? That would tell you what is going on and might lead you to the issue.
 
Yes i do but i really dont know what to look for on the scan tool for that problem! I cut the fuel down some and it do run a lil better
 
Is your translator set for the LS1 MAF or LT1? I think you on the SM you look at your BLMs and TPS volts i think.
 
thats another thing that im confused on! is the screens what do you mean by that? and i just checked the maf and translator and i had the maf on 0 which is 3.5in maf and i only have a 3in could that cause problems? i havent had a chance to take it for a test drive yet!
 
From reading what TT web site, some get away with no screens in the MAF, Some don't.

With my stock unit, before I knew anything about these cars, a friend...(LT1 owner) told me to descreen my MAF, get more air,power. I find that it does ok, not much day or night. After tho a few oil changes, i smell raw gas in the exhaust(leak by the Cat&DP) Smell was strong, car started running like crap. So, I got the LT1 & translator combo, ran great after. I say, stay with one screen. my 2cents.
