Just starting to learn custom chip programming. I downloaded two chips I have, both of which run the fan as soon as the car is started. Looking at TunerPro they both have fan turn on temps in the 160 range. I had thought if the fan runs all the time they would set the temp to 0 deg or something. Is there another address that forces the fan run the moment the car is started?
Also, any tricks on getting the chips out of the carriers. I broke pin 7 on one of them. Still loaded in the programmer but have not tried it in the car. Either way I can just copy it.
