Fan Delay Relay - worth keeping?

I removed it due to the issues they've been known to cause. Ever since I kept it in my tool box. Now I'm wondering if I should throw it away or save it just in case? I don't plan on reinstalling it, wasn't sure if it's worth anything.

High Speed Fan Delay Relay

Hi,
I am still running mine, though I am aware of the dangers.I like the function, but when it MALFUNCTIONS,that's another issue. When you disconnect the battery, you can hear all the misbehavior start. I would say hang on to it, but don't use it.

Thanks...yeah I still have it, but removed it off the car, wasn't sure if it had any value to it. Thought if so maybe I'd sell it. If it's any good.

Couldnt the relay just be sealed with silicone?

I tried silicone years ago and it still rotted/corroded accross the traces and shorted out/falsely triggered the timer.

Probably due to humidity and being outdoors all the time, might work for a garaged car but I still wouldn't try it again.
