whether you like it or not this film is probably going to gross the highest revenues of the 4 films. i thought they all sucked but i watched them, free of course. GN's will be going up in value because of this. not as much as the supras but still.

Strange. The opening scene, it has an 87 grill, but in the last scene after the girl jumps on the car, it has an 86 grill all the sudden

So I'm not the only one that noticed that.


I'm actually pretty happy about this, the cars should increase in value after it's released.

I read the Ford Forum and checked out some of the other brand boards, surprisingly, there are a lot of people who are going to check the movie out, just because the GN is in it. And a few also picked up on the wrong V8 sound, man I wish the producers would fix that.

I know its a little off topic, but Im going to say it again. The original F & F movie is an almost exact remake of The movie "NO MANS LAND" with charlie sheen from 1987. Has anyone else seen it? If you look at the original movie cover it says "Fast, Furious right on it.

GN Assault Vechicle

Boy, I thought some of you guys were EXPERTS at these cars

What’s in the trailer is the infamous Grand National Assault Vehicle (aka GNAV).

It’s features include:

1) Twin Turbo V8
2) Grand National badge on the right side of the car.
3) Under dash switch that changes the 87 grill to 84-86 grill (Confuses people. “Hey, look at that 87 GN. Wait, where did it go!”).
4) Amour plating and extra structural support for those cases where you need to send a semi careening over a cliff.

The only problem with the trailer is the GNAV is equipped with bullet proof glass, Obviously this rare specimen had it’s glass replaced sometime in it’s life.

It doesn't come out for 10 months, hopefully they will change the sound of the GN. They should just dub the sound of a jet taking off for the GN, that'd be more accurate :biggrin:

It also features a second switch that changes the turbo hood to a stock flat hood. Good for those street races when you need to look slow in a second.
