I've gotten a 1.49 wondering this also and what is best ET also ,heard it to be 6.3 in the 1/8 mile .

WOW ! that is on TA performance block right ! I take it your foot braking the car only .

Rear brakes were two long shoes with aluminum drums. Yes I run the TA block and foot brake the car only.

That's my best too with 275/60/15 dr's. I haven't left off the foot brake much on my car.....the t-brake is too much fun

1.51 on 275/60/15 MT DRs. Guess I should have kept that car, low 1.5s every time on only a 10 lb launch and could have easily left at 20 lbs with the combo. Previous owner did a 1.46. I don't think it even had the upgraded rear shoes, it just flashed hard on an art carr 9" n/l TC...which I have for sale It was a low 11/high 10 sec car on conservative 25 psi and small shaft TA-61. New owner of engine ran a full weight car to mid 10s on a TE 45a.
