took test drive with razor ,in bowling green after he installed ALKY KIT ,getting back on interstate got on it good 24lbs of fun ,then he shifted it into over drive and i let off,drove back to hotel ,with ted nuegent GRIN!!!!!!
 
154 @ 3 am on the parkway..Broke a connecting rod as a result..Had to limp back home (2 hours away) going 30 mph the entire way home..:mad:
 
Please describe what this "floating" is you speak of.
These cars are FAR from aerodynamic and thus the faster you go the more the front end rises, When the front end rises at those high speeds the front end starts to have the floating feeling like it's softly swaying from side to side.. Thats floating..
 
I can tell you what, my old Monte SS saw every bit of 135 and felt solid as a rock. I imagine an extended more aggressive set of air dams would do wonders for us.

One thing to look at that would help high speed handling is front end alignment. The front tires toe in and out as the front end height changes. I don't recall off the top of my head, but either toe in or toe out gives a more unstable ride than the other. If at high speed, when the front end is lifting, the tires goes into that unfavorable toe condition, you could end up with some touchy steering. I have my toe setting done with the front end jacked up 1 to 2 inches and me sitting in the car.
