Fastest times with a TE-44 and stock motor

Just curious as to how fast I can really go with this turbo. I am talking completely never open factory motor with just the bolt on turbo and 50 lb injectors with complete traction (slicks) and 118 race gas

what is the max effiecient boost level i can run on this turbo without blowing something?

22-24psi is sweet spot for that turbo and with race gas plus slicks and finely tuned, I think an 11.6's is achievable with good boost off of the line. My .02

If valve springs are GOOD though

I had some personal emails where people have gone very low 11's at much higher boost levels though..

You know I always like to talk about the TE-44's. I run up to 28 psi of boost with my TE-44. I run 7.0's in the 1/8 th. My motor is not stock. Tune it in and turn the boost up and you will run mild 11's. Awesome turbo!

You will probably need to switch to taller slicks if you havent already
