I'm a Bears fan and hated to watch him tear up the Bears over the years but still I am sad to see him go. Brett Favre is what every football player should strive to be.

Im glad hes gone...

Clearly one of the greatest, but as a life long Bear fan, I am very happy he's gone. I won't miss the way John Madden, Joe Buck, and the rest of the brown noser network announcers would always tell us how great he was 50 times a game. Now we get to see how good the team really was. I'll bet that Ryan Grant kid has a very low rushing total next year. Defenses will key on him and force the packers to pass. Let the rebuilding begin Green Bay.

yah im not crying either but im sure theres a couple nut jobs in town that will:rolleyes:

It was a matter of time before he would. I wish it was sooner then later.

Packer fans were tuff on him...

Lovie Smith seemed to have the Packers number recently, and after that Packers loss to the Bears I dialed in to the Packer postgame show on their home network 620 AM. All the fans were calling for his head after that asswhippin the Bears put on them. They are not a very understanding fanbase. If things dont go well right away, I can see a head coaching change regardless of the newly signed contract. P.S. I still have that game recorded and I think Im gonna watch it just to get a smile.:D

Sad Part is NO incentives for Favre to come back

Sad Part is NO incentives for Favre to come back.

Brett is the best QB we will see in our lifetime just like Michael Jordan, not comparing, but great athletes are a special treat in life if you like sports... Seeing Tiger Woods is another example.

Brett Favre was not offered a dime to come back, there is new management and new coaches, Favre has played a looooong time for any football player... Most guys do not see playing more than 10 years, now add in new bull crap, he has enough money, so would you retire or keep working...

The top people control a lot, look at the NFL billionaire owners and what they do and say to get their way. The packers could have gone all the way next time but it takes a lot of key players, and coaches calling the right plays, top to bottom all members of the team. I don't see that happening currently and IF THE PACKERS ARE TRULY OWNED BY THE COMMUNITY, THEN THEY SHOULD SPEAK UP IN THE NEXT 4 MONTHS TO GET HIM TO COME BACK ONE MORE YEAR. There is the true honor of the game. Everybody is quick to see Favre leave... and look what he did this past year... I met the Manning Family becuz of the Green Bay Packers... Management with their head up their arse and only see dollar bills... think outside the box...

It is mental area that is frustrating working with new people, that are stuck in their ways, acquire through the draft... why did moss get 50 TD's, the packers need intimidating RCVR's that require double team.

The community owns the Packers..........Yeah right..--more like the community pays for the packers!
