Fedor is an awesome fighter, smart and a tactical master, best of all he is humble. I was so glad when he knocked out Roger's. Fedor's one loss way back when was in the opening round when he got cut, it was bad enough that the ring side doctor stopped the fight. Fedor avenged that fight in great fashion BTW. Lesner is not even close to Fedor in anyway. I would love to see that fight. Brock made a remarkable recovery, which is a good thing. I was looking forward to seeing thenfight that Lesnar missed with Shane Carwin....that should be a good one. :)

Amazing how the weaker Pride HW Division that has been defunct for several years still has 8 fighters in the Fight magazine MMA HW top 20 and 4 in the top 10: Present UFC contracted fighters: 5 top 10 and 9 top 20... BTW 5 of the fighters on that list have been beaten by Fedor, some on numerous occasions, How many top 10 fighters has Brock beaten? I'm throwing facts and numbers as a supporting argument, the rebuttals I've read are strictly opinion... And you know the saying; opinions are like a$$holes everyone has one and they all stink. BTW I'm deployed and bored in my off time, so arguing MMA gives me something to look forward to... thank you for supporting my morale... :)

Your right I am insane... don't worry about trying to change my opinion, I was watching the UFC since the mid 90's and Pride since I was in Asia 2001 timeframe. I'm talking about when PRIDE was the premier organization the were deeper. Your trying to legitimize your argument based off of what a majority of the Pride heavyweights have done post Pride. That is irrelevent to my point, my point is back then Pride had a deeper better heavy weight division. Now look at UFC how many really good HW's do they have? I will agree on the PED testing effecting the former Pride guys in the UFC... just ask Overeeem why he won't fight in the States... So Jay when I come up to Big Wood to get the T worked will I discover a big picture of Brock in a speedo on your desktop???? :D

LOL.. no.. Brock isnt unbeatable, I just think he's a terrible matchup for most HWs. I also think if someone doesnt knock him out on his feet, theyre not going to beat him. I dont see him getting subbed again by anyone if he continues his strategy from his last fight. When you close down all the distance like that and deliver sledgehammers to the side of someone's head, its tough to be submitted.

I still think PEDs played a big role in the whole Pride>UFC argument. Rampage and Wand were noticeably smaller when they entered the UFC and so was CroCop. Even so, tho, like you said, the UFC HW division was weak back in the heyday of Pride. The two top UFC HWs of that era (Sylvia and Arlovski) have fared poorly outside the UFC and wouldnt have done any better in Pride.

I still say, tho, that Fedor is ducking the UFC. Theres no way anyone made him as lucrative offer as the UFC did. He just doesnt want to endanger his GOAT title and instead is happy to fight UFC has beens and never was's.

In all reality I do not think he is ducking the UFC, I think the explanation is his management is tied into some... let's say shady businessmen. They don't have the leverage to strong arm the UFC Brass into any type of co-promotion, I actually think everyone around him knows what the deal is, it seems like everyone is afraid to come out and say it... for christ sakes his brother has done time in prison and wears the vor markings in ink... I got kicked off the Sherdog forum for using the term "Scarlett Group", or it's equivalent... Anyway I don't think we will ever see the two best HW's in the world fight.... :(
