As some of you know I ran across a couple great deals over the last few weeks and added an 03' SVT Cobra and 99' Trans Am to the stable. Of course I've been preoccupied with these and haven't messed with the TR lately.
I took the TA to the track last night to test it. It's a Heads/Cam car and runs pretty good. It was running 7.60's 1/8 mile in 95 degree weather. But after 3 passes I was driving back down the return road and all I was thinking is "This is cool, but it's not a Turbo Regal" My buddy wants the TA bad, so I think I'm gonna sell it to him before I even start messing with it.
The Cobra on the other hand, I LOVE. Haven't had it at the track yet, but had it dyno tuned today. It was 98 degrees outside and the car made 591HP/552TQ to the rear wheels. Very happy with this car, but it makes me want to make the TR faster now lol.
I think I may take the TR to the 1/4 mile track tomorrow.
